For decades, the United Way of St. Clair County has been involved with the funding and building of accessibility ramps for low-income, handicapped individuals. Thanks to a grant from the Stebbins Family Fund, a collaboration has been formed by the United Way, Community Enterprises, The Arc of St. Clair County, and the Department of Human Services. The collaboration will facilitate the screening of applicants applying for a ramp, preparing the ramp sites, and constructing ramps that provide accessibility for the applicant with a physical disability.
Thank you to the Stebbins Family Fund for this gift and for their belief in the United Way system.
