Foster Youth Birthday Program

​In partnership with the Department of Health and Human services, this program provides a birthday gift to foster children in St. Clair County.

My Free Taxes

United Way partners with H&R Block to provide its Premium online tax filing software to help people easily and accurately file their federal and state taxes through MyFreeTaxes if they earned $66,000 or less in the previous tax year.  Filers can easily access MyFreeTaxes.com from their computer or the palm of their hand and can file federal and up to three state returns for free.

Transportation for the Visually Impaired

​This program provides transportation to an annual seminar so members of Blue Water League of the blind are able to attend.

Imagination Library

​United Way of St. Clair County is proud to announce a signature project with St. Clair County RESA and the Great Start Collaborative to provide registered in St. Clair County, between birth and 5 years old, a membership to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Imagination Library was started in 1996 by Dolly Parton. The program provides registered children with a new book each month; from the month of birth until their fifth birthday.  

Community Dental Center

​My Community Dental Centers (MCDC) provides quality, compassionate care for adults & children covered by Medicaid, Healthy Kids Dental, MIChild, and most private insurances, as well as low-income uninsured patients. MCDC also has reduced fees for uninsured veterans with proof of service.

​The Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program provides funding for agencies delivering basic human service needs to victims of personal crisis and unemployment.  United Way provides the management and accountability necessary to increase government funding in our community.

St. Clair County Community Services Coordinating Body (CSCB)

UWSCC staff is actively involved with the CSCB which is a coalition of non-profit, human service agencies of St. Clair County.  Their mission addresses the coordination of services for St. Clair County residents and the assurance of appropriate service delivery.
