As the end of the month approaches and the government shutdown continues, millions of families who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are at immediate risk of losing access to critical nutrition support. SNAP helps over 1.4 million Michiganders afford groceries. Without swift action, November benefits may be delayed or disrupted — leaving families to face hunger and hardship.
The 2-1-1 helpline provides referrals to programs to assist with food, housing, financial assistance, utility assistance and more. Help is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, from anywhere in the state of Michigan.

Local Food Pantries, Hours, and Guidelines
Although United Way of St. Clair County does not host a food pantry, we do provide funding through local programs and, at times, food trucks. The following food and meal providers with links to their websites receive funding from our Community Campaign. Food trucks are sponsored through our Emergency Services Fund. Many of the programs listed in the tabs below receive funding from the Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP).
