PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 17, 2020

UWSCC seeks support for the 2020 Community Campaign.

The United Way of St. Clair County (UWSCC) 2020 Community Campaign is in full swing.  This year’s Community Campaign goal is to help 15,000 St. Clair County residents.  Each of us has the ability to make a difference in someone’s life.  When we band together, we amplify that effect and make a significant impact on our entire community; creating lasting change for the common good.  An enjoyable quality of life for all; that is the goal.

While the pandemic has caused the delay of many employee giving campaigns, hope remains at the heart of this year’s Community Campaign.  So far, UWSCC has received enough contributions to help 5,622 of our most vulnerable residents receive the care they need; that’s just over a third of the way to their goal.  Change Starts with YOU. A contribution to UWSCC is really an investment into 39 countywide, essential health and human services that address the greatest community needs.  Funded programs are the building blocks to a solid foundation for life.  They empower individuals and families through education, health, and financial stability.

Payroll deduction pledging is an option within many businesses throughout the county to allow you to budget your contribution in installments.  One-time contributions are also accepted in-person at the UWSCC office, online at www.uwstclair.org/Contribute, and over the phone with UWSCC’s Finance Director at (810) 985-8169.  There is no limit to the number of one-time contributions you can give throughout the year.  There is still time to be a part of changing lives for the better.  This is your opportunity to leave your fingerprints on a legacy of change that will resonate for generations to come.  Change Starts Here.

Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
