United Way of St. Clair County Announces a Leadership Transition

The United Way of St. Clair County (UWSCC) announces the upcoming retirement of Brent Gillette, Executive Director of the United Way of St. Clair County. After a decade of dedicated service, Brent will officially retire on January 9,2026. We are pleased to share that Sharon Wilton, currently serving as Resource Development Director, will assume the position of Executive Director upon Brent’s retirement. Sharon will also continue to fulfill her responsibilities as Resource Development Director, ensuring a seamless transition and continued support for our mission. Brent’s leadership over the past ten years has made a lasting impact on the Blue Water area, supporting countless families and community programs throughout St. Clair County. His commitment and compassion have set a standard for all of us at United Way. We invite the community to join us in expressing our gratitude and best wishes to Brent as he embarks on his retirement. Sharon is eager to step into her new role and continue driving United Way’s mission to strengthen our communities and help them thrive. We look forward to this next chapter under her guidance. For more than a century, United Way of Saint Clair County has served the Blue Water area.
